"Surf City" was Suds short lived retail store, just down the road....formerly @colesurfboards "SurfSpot " shop. At this time I was using pin line paint rollers ( from the hot rod world ) to draw directly on the foam. Very hard way to draw, and I could only roll the roller one direction. It wasn't until '91 that we discovered the Posca pens, while shaping in Japan, and I was able to start really drawing directly on the finished glass."Shaping bay life
